Word Plaza is a collection of concise word puzzles. The aim is simple: give adults something thoughtful to play without demanding a long session.
Why Word Plaza exists
Many word games either finish before an idea has time to develop or stretch one mechanic across hundreds of nearly identical stages. Word Plaza takes a different approach. Each game has a clear rule, a daily puzzle shared by everyone, and optional levels for players who want more.
The puzzles are designed to reward vocabulary and deduction rather than obscure trivia. A strong solution should feel fair once it is seen, even when it took a few attempts to find.
The two games
One Letter is the quick game. Each clue asks you to change exactly one letter in a starting word. Five clues make a complete round.
Hidden Word is the deeper puzzle. Cards are swapped into existing words, and the letters removed from those words form a final secret word. Every local move must work, but the whole hand matters.
How we approach puzzle quality
Every required answer should be a familiar word, every clue should point cleanly toward its answer, and a Hidden Word board should have one recognised winning hand. Candidate puzzles are checked for valid alternatives before publication. When a player finds a common word that is missing, the game offers a feedback button so the vocabulary can be reviewed rather than silently ignored.
Word Plaza is still actively maintained, but the games published here are complete and playable. Improvements are guided by player feedback, puzzle results and careful review of confusing moments.
