How to Play One Letter
Read the clue, change exactly one letter and make the correct word. Solve all five before the clock gets away from you.
CAT→CAR
Clue: “A vehicle you drive.” Change the T in CAT to R and make CAR.
1Read and change
- Read the clue above the tiles.
- Tap the one letter you want to replace.
- Choose its replacement from the keyboard.
- Solve all five words to finish the round.
2Protect your time
Your finishing time decides your leaderboard position. A wrong answer adds three seconds. Revealing a word moves you on but adds ten seconds.
The same five puzzles are available to everyone each day.
Strategy tips
- Use the clue before testing letters. Guessing quickly can cost more time than thinking.
- Keep the word length. Only one letter changes; no letters are added, removed or rearranged.
- Check every position. The changed letter can be at the beginning, middle or end.
- Build a streak. Return for the next daily set and compare your first result.
Can I play more than once?
Yes. Your first daily result is the ranked score, and practice rounds let you keep playing without changing it.
Can I play missed days?
Yes. Earlier puzzles from the current Word Plaza season appear in the archive, while only today advances the live streak.
